Board of Selectmen acts on grants, police officer appointment, and bridge inspection

Warren Selectmen authorize two state grants for materials recovery. Chair Richard J. Eichacker was authorized unanimously to sign Statements of Work with MassDEP for an $8,000 glass-collection container grant and a $5,000 universal waste shed grant, both expiring June 30, 2026 and administered by the Board of Health.
The board voted unanimously to transfer the Animal Control Officer's vehicle to the Fire Department and reviewed a MassDOT inspection report documenting severe deterioration in the South Street bridge over Wigwam Brook, including failed jack arches and three beams currently out of service with extensive rust and section loss.
