Warren Board of Selectmen approves liquor license for Countryside Tavern on Mechanic Street. Owner Brian K. Sizer's application for an on-premises all-alcoholic-beverages restaurant license was approved unanimously, with operating hours Monday to Saturday ten a.m. to midnight and Sunday eleven a.m. to midnight.
In a divided vote, the board also raised the fiscal year 2027 highway surveyor salary to eighty-four thousand one hundred twenty-four dollars, a five percent increase, despite Finance Committee recommendation of two-point-five percent; Vice Chair Derick R. Veliz and Chair Richard J. Eichacker supported the higher raise, while Clerk David P.
Dufresne opposed. Police Chief Gerald Millette's three-year contract renewal was approved unanimously.
