Board of Selectmen okays $2,500 for Senior Center radon mitigation.

Warren Board of Selectmen approves radon mitigation system funding. The board unanimously approved spending up to $2,500 from Community Development Block Grant miscellaneous funds to install a radon mitigation system at the Warren Senior Center, where elevated radon was detected in the basement. In separate unanimous votes, the board welcomed Raymond C.

Kopacko as the new Clerk, appointed Christina Havens as custodian of the Board's petty cash account, authorized release of the Board's right of first refusal on a Brimfield Road property owned by Fountain and Sons Construction Co., Inc., and approved payment of May warrants and bills totaling more than $470,000.
