Planning Board closes public hearing on earth removal special permit at Rivers Bend Road.

WARREN — Planning Board closed a public hearing and voted unanimously to approve a Special Permit for Maple Lane Development Corp. to conduct earth removal at Rivers Bend Road. Vice-Chair Richard Eichacker reported that the company plans to focus on Title V sand with provisions for crushing operations and road grindings storage, with hours of operation within Zoning requirements. Residents Susan Hannah and Derek Hannah stated their site-location and road-impact concerns had been addressed.
The Board also unanimously approved payroll submissions totaling $1,424.31 for Administrative Assistant Laura Sherris and an accounts payable submission of $184.10 to Turley Publications, and reported that the floodplain section of the Zoning Bylaws requires updating for the 2026 Annual Town Meeting.
