Planning Board continues floodplain zoning hearing to May 11
Planning Board · Meeting of April 27, 2026
WARREN — Planning Board continues floodplain zoning hearing to May 11. Vice-Chair Richard Eichacker presented a draft amendment to align Warren's Zoning Bylaws with state and federal National Flood Insurance Program standards, developed with assistance from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation. The Board voted unanimously to defer closure of the public hearing to allow DCR to review the final wording.
In routine business, the Board approved the April 13 meeting minutes and authorized a $728.98 payroll submission for the Planning Board Administrative Assistant, both unanimously. Chair Derick R. Veliz raised the matter of excavation at 66 Nelson Street; Eichacker noted the Building Department lacks zoning authority to enforce but identified other potential avenues.
