Warren selectmen approve architecture contracts and assessor hiring. Chair Richard J. Eichacker and the Board of Selectmen unanimously approved contracts with Tecton Architects to assess the former Cornerstone Bank Building at 968 Main Street and with H2M Architects and Engineers to study the basketball court adjacent to Fire Station A.
The board also unanimously authorized a new Assistant Assessor position at Step 9 wage level of $37.08 per hour. Town Administrator James Ferrera will begin contract negotiations with the Police Chief. A request from Fire Chief Adam Lavoie to transfer the Animal Control Officer's vehicle to the Fire Department was tabled without a recorded vote or continuance date.
