Warren Sewer Commission unanimously approves $30,000 line-item transfer and backs Brimfield Road sewer stub. The board moved funds from Wages to Maintenance and Services to cover generator issues and increased sludge disposal through the remainder of fiscal 2026, with Chair Travis Baker and Vice Chair Joan Lavigne voting in favor alongside Secretary Lisa Digris. The Commission also unanimously approved a sewer connection permit from Fountain & Sons Construction to install a stub and lateral on Brimfield Road for a planned commercial landscaping business.
WWTP Chief Operator Scott Urban reported that the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection investigated a complaint of chemical dumping at night but found the complaint baseless.
