Sewer Commission approves new connection permit with revisions.
Sewer Commission · Meeting of May 19, 2026
Warren Sewer Commission approves revised connection permit with tighter rules. Chair Travis Baker and the board unanimously backed the new sewer connection permit application form, which now mandates grease traps for commercial food establishments and requires as-built engineering plans with measurements and distances. WWTP Chief Operator Scott Urban reported sufficient FY2026 budget funds remain for pending lab equipment from Hach Company, and the board discussed preliminary plans by Paquette Construction to build six duplex homes on Cemetery Road, which would require a new sewer main extending from Comins Pond Road.
The board scheduled the next meeting for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, shifting to afternoon times to accommodate Baker's new work schedule.
