Warren board approves wheelchair lift contract, grants, and Karyn Wood as Planning Board member.

Warren Selectmen unanimously approved a $109,000 contract with Diversified Construction Services for the Shepard Building wheelchair lift replacement, negotiating down from an original bid of $148,422. The board also appointed Karyn Wood to fill a Planning Board vacancy until the next municipal election and authorized Town Administrator James J. Ferrera to sign State of Work forms for two Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection grants totaling $13,000, an $8,000 glass collection container grant and a $5,000 universal waste shed grant to be administered by the Board of Health.

The board unanimously renewed motor vehicle and common victualler licenses for multiple businesses.
