Warren conservation panel continues Carl Street hearing to March 11
Conservation · Meeting of February 11, 2026
Warren Conservation Commission continues Carl Street hearing, presses on unpermitted forest clearing. The board voted 5-0 by roll call to continue applicant Jim Bouton's public hearing to March 11 after no representative appeared, citing a hospitalization that delayed the project team. Members also approved $535.61 in bills, including $391.61 reimbursed to Tim O'Brien for native plants and trail supplies.
Much of the meeting centered on a report of extensive clearing on a wooded parcel near a member's home, described as "literally all clear-cut," with new concrete footings and an active maple sugaring operation raising questions about work near a stream. The commission plans to identify the landowners and invite them to its March meeting. Members also flagged incoming solar-related driveway and utility pole work on Cronin Road.
