Warren fall sports teams opened their seasons with a family fall sports night, student leaders told the School Committee this week.

Warren's fall sports teams began practice on August 24, according to a student presentation at the Sept. 21 School Committee meeting. The lineup includes girls soccer, boys soccer, field hockey, cross country, golf and football.

To mark the start of the season, the school held a family fall sports night at which each team was awarded a free meal by the Brewster Club. Student presenters said every team was asked to lead a game activity for the other squads to play together, and team captains and coaches were recognized individually during the event. A raffle was also held.
