Warren Water Commission Signs Bills, Accepts April 7 Minutes
Water · Meeting of April 22, 2026
Warren Water Commission signs bills, sidesteps a $20,000 repair, and starts planning a capital fund. The board approved $2,368.21 to PP Renewables and roughly $9,150 combined in pump and gearbox repair bills, then heard staff describe a fuel leak on the treatment plant's backup generator that a roughly $1,000 part should fix, avoiding a Caterpillar-quoted $20,000 fuel-pump replacement. Staff ordered six replacement motors for the plant's RBC treatment train, three of four of which are functioning, and told the board a Department of Environmental Protection contact "were happy" with the town's progress.
Members discussed shifting about $25,000 from an older capital warrant article toward a new capital improvement fund for aging equipment, pending confirmation with town hall. A Coy Hill Road driveway sinkhole tied to ground settling above a sewer lateral was resolved after the adjoining property's new owners "were very prompt" to fix an issue staff said they'd been unaware of.
