Board gives camper family 7 days to vacate

Board of Health · Meeting of July 29, 2026

Warren Board of Health gives camper-dwelling family seven days to vacate a Richardson Street lot. Regional Health Inspector Tessa Obuchowski told the board a July 21 inspection found no potable water, no sewer connection and no permanent electricity at 64 Richardson St., violations she said trace to five complaints filed since December. The property owner, identified only as Eric, said he hauls his own wastewater to Mill Creek and disputed living there a full 90 days.

Neighbors Steve Sutter, David Daxter and Cynthia Baxter all raised health, property-value and compliance concerns, with Baxter asking "is it 90 days consecutive?" The board voted unanimously to grant a seven-day extension to Aug. 5, after which a $100-a-day fine applies if anyone remains on the property.
