Warren Select Board Approves South Bridge Road Utility Poles
Select Board · Meeting of July 23, 2026
Warren Select Board hears a $1.7 million plan to fix Pulaski Street's water, drainage and roads. Engineer Bill Storty of Weston and Sampson told the board the patch neighborhood segment alone runs $754,000, and recommended blending Community Development Block Grant funds with other state grants since commercial abutters complicate CDBG eligibility. The board approved two National Grid utility poles on South Bridge Road, voted unanimously to book roughly $160,000 in state RAP winter-storm aid as miscellaneous revenue after a $127,000 snow-and-ice deficit, and approved warrants and bills totaling more than $900,000, including $150,736.83 to Energy Conservation Inc. for a completed school weatherization project.
The board also acknowledged Veterans Agent Michelle Durkee's resignation effective September 21 and thanked police, fire and EMS for an 11-day search effort involving "the Blackwell family."
