Board continues review of 6-duplex Cemetery Road project

Planning Board · Meeting of August 12, 2026

Warren's Planning Board and Conservation Commission jointly continue review of a 12-unit duplex project to September 14. Engineer Jason DuBois presented plans for six duplex buildings and 31 parking spaces on a Cemetery Road gravel pit mined since 1980. Peer-review engineer Terry Reynolds questioned whether steep slopes near two buildings needed a geotechnical stability analysis, asking, "Have you checked, done any slope stability calculations to know that it's going to be stable?" Conservation Commission agent Glenn disputed how much of the site's riverfront area was "degraded" before 1996 protections took effect, warning the project's impervious surfaces could make the site "less riverfront friendly." Vice Chair Richard Eichacker pressed engineers on parking lot drainage.

The boards also flagged the recent retirement of longtime conservation agent Mark Stinson as an added uncertainty for the review, which continues September 14 at 7 p.m.
